1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to InvoiceX, operated under the JustX brand in South Africa. By accessing or using invoicex.co.za (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these comprehensive Terms and Conditions. The Service is designed to provide mobile-first business stationery generation for South African micro-businesses, tradespeople, and freelancers.
2. Description of Services
InvoiceX provides a cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for generating, managing, and distributing business documents including Quotes, Invoices, and Receipts. The platform operates on a recurring subscription model (Premium) for authenticated workspace access.
3. User Account Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information regarding your business and billing details. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. The platform must not be used for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious activities.
4. Subscriptions, Payments & Billing
Access to the core InvoiceX workspace requires an active Premium subscription, billed either monthly or annually. All payments are processed securely via our authorized payment gateway, Payfast (ZAR). By subscribing, you authorize Payfast to charge your nominated payment method on a recurring basis until you explicitly cancel the subscription via your billing dashboard.
5. Data Privacy & POPIA Compliance
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Your data, including client records and financial documents, is stored securely and is never sold to third parties. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
6. Document Sharing & Security
When you generate a document, it may be accessible via a secure, unique public URL intended for your clients. You are solely responsible for determining who you share these URLs with. InvoiceX is not liable for unauthorized access to documents resulting from improperly shared links.
7. Limitation of Liability
InvoiceX is an administrative tool intended to assist with document generation and does not constitute formal financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are entirely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and tax compliance (including SARS VAT compliance) of the data you enter. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss of profits, revenue, or data resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA). Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
